So I have been meaning to (...as in I have thought about it several times, but ya know...life.) start a blog to document some of the important events in our lives for what seems like forever. I can thank my sister, Jennifer, for the idea. She started one a few years ago shortly after my niece, Abigail, was born. While I know I will never be able to tell our story with the same...how shall I put this... charisma that she does (Baby A & Mama J check it out!), I wanted a spot for our kids to look back on and see what this perfectly imperfect family was all about!
Today happens to be the day following a fabulous 30th birthday celebration for said sister mentioned above. We had an absolutely amazing time but it does come at a price. Must be the fact that my body now recognizes I am no longer in my 20's. And let me tell you, taking care of three kids (& a husband ;) ) following a night like we had is not all cupcakes and roses. Needless to say the day consisted of a lot of movies, HGTV, and nap rotations in between feeding the littles.
Well I think that is all I have for tonight. This will be a work in progress...because let's be honest, if I waited until it was perfect, it would never be ready. I am excited to give my little family (& anyone else who cares to read-on) a glimpse into our life. It may not be perfect but it is all ours, and I am thankful for each and every crazy, exhausting, wonderful day.
